Patrick Mahony Review of The Cobra by Frederick Forsyth

Patrick Mahony Review of the book The Cobra  The Cobra by Frederick Forsyth My rating: 4 of 5 stars Frederick Forsyth is among the biggest thriller authors of our modern world, and the veteran's recent work shows a true master's job. In The Cobra, Forsyth assumes the eating away of cocaine in European and american cultures. When the U.S. President's Office chooses to end the cocaine market once and for all, the executives turn to Paul Deveraux, an ex-CIA veteran, to formulate and execute a strategy capable of carrying out the operation. Deveraux, alias The Cobra brings together a team of experts to carry out the scheme, led by the notorious tunnel rat, Cal Dexter. The novel crackles as The Cobra and his team come up with a wonderful approach. ~Patrick Mahony View all my reviews

Patrick Mahony Book Review - The Devils Alternative by Frederick Forsyth

Patrick Mahony Book Review - The Devils Alternative by Frederick Forsyth The Devil's Alternative by Frederick Forsyth My rating: 5 of 5 stars Frederick Forsth is a master narrator, who in his writing mixes reality with fiction. One of my favorite writers. He writes books constantly and with twists and turns he will hold your attention. The story takes place at the end of the seventies at the beginning of the eighties. The story is the beginning of the Cold War. A political novel that ends with a surprise that threatens disastrous outcomes throughout the world. The book is extremely interesting and you're not going to be disappointed. Would surely recommend. View all my reviews

Patrick Mahony Review of  The Firm The Firm by John Grisham My rating: 4 of 5 stars It is always nice to read books where situations are so challenging that you do not know what is going to happen next. With the main Character, you get so absorbed and just focus on him. The story is great and the writing style is quite impressive. The characters are so interesting that you would like to know what would be their next move. If you like to read something adventurous, this John Grisham book will impress you a lot with its story line and characters. ~Patrick Mahony View all my reviews

Patrick Mahony Review of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Patrick Mahony Review on Goodreads Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling My rating: 4 of 5 stars This book popularity could have been due to the introduction of Sirius and Lupin whom some fans considered as the two coolest character in the series. This also marks the point where book began to become more serialized with each ending creating the next one. View all my reviews
